Hourglass

A documentary project on the Asir region — the oldest part of Saudi Arabia — and how its culture is adapting after severe demographic shifts. The whole thing was filmed in ten days on location, with Mike Bou-Nacklie.

Mirkaz:
The Collective

Founded by Dhad, a Jeddah graffiti store, as a graffiti-and-barbecue session, then built out with CRKD.GURU and 9SickSick into a grassroots urban collective — somewhere the city’s subcultures could meet, network and turn what they do into a career. Six volumes, closing with a Vans-partnered Vol.6 in January 2020: graffiti battles, bboy battles, cash for tricks, egos left at the door.
